Where is our College located and what is its size?

Nizwa College of Technology is located on the eastern outskirts of the oasis of Nizwa, about 12 km from the city centre. There are more than 3,000 students enrolled, and the number of students is growing rapidly every year. The campus provides a close relationship with the communities and is easily reachable by car and public transportation. The classes that you will attend are small, and you will receive personal attention and tutoring.

What programs are offered in NCT?

NCT offers various programs and specializations in the areas of engineering, information technology, and business management.

The engineering specializations include computer engineering, electronics and communications engineering, electrical power engineering, mechanical engineering, and oil and gas engineering.

The information technology specializations are: software engineering, database and computer networks.

The business and management specializations are: office management, human resource and marketing. They also offer CAT programs to interested students.

The College offers ladderized programs in all areas, meaning the student gets a corresponding qualification for each year of study. After completing the first year in the specialization program, the student will be awarded the certificate. After the second year, he/she will be awarded the Diploma degree. After the third year, the student will be awarded High Diploma.

The College follows the application-based approach to teaching. This means that after graduation, the students are assured that they have the required skills necessary to be competitive in their chosen field of work.
