Staff development unit of Engineering department in association with the Human Resource department conducted a webinar on "Part and Assembly Modeling using Creo" on 22 nd September 2021 to the staffs of M&I section. The SDU committee extends its kindness and gratitude to the Resource Person, Mr.Shanmugan Perumal, Lecturer/Engineering department. The session started with a key note address by Dr.Sabareesan, Head of Section/M&I/Engineering Department. Mr.Raqib Hussain, Member of SDU Committee introduced the Resource person CREO is a modeling and analysis package comprises of various modules like part module, assembly module, drawing module and different type of analysis.
In a nutshell the following areas were explained by the speaker with examples using CREO-Parametric 7.0.1.0 software.
 Creation of 3D part modeling.
 Creation of thread in the part.
 Creation of assembly drawing using various parts.
 Creation of templates, different views, detailed views and sectional views.
The training program was very informative and cater the needs of all the participants. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Mr.Fakrudeen.J, SDU Coordinator of Engineering department
