Staff Development Unit of the Engineering Department organized a training program titled “Workshop on Part And Assembly Modeling-Solidworks” for the Mechanical Engineering section on 08th March 2018.
Mr.Shanmugam.P, Lecturer / Engineering conducted the demonstration and training. The workshop focused on training in SolidWorks which is a solid modeling Computer Aided Design (CAD) and computer-aided Engineering (CAE) software. SolidWorks is a solid modeler, and utilizes a parametric feature-based approach to create models and assemblies.  Faculties of Mechanical Engineering section attended the training. All the participants have eagerly participated and got hands on training on the software. The Session ended with vote of thanks by Mr.J.Fakrudeen, Engineering Coordinator for Staff Development Unit.
