BSD Senior Project Team organized an Orientation Program for all the students enrolled in Senior / Graduation project in Semester 2 on Wednesday, February 3rd 2021 at 10 am. The objective of the program is to orient the students in academic research. Around 50 BSD students participated in the orientation program.

The session was conducted by Dr Sangeetha Natarajan, BSD Project Coordinator, UTAS –Nizwa- where she addressed the process of undertaking senior project, detailing on the work expectations of students, guidelines, pattern of evaluation, marking schema, disseminating the action plan for the current semester with timelines for project work completion. She continued the session with a presentation on writing a research proposal, sharing the guidelines, layout, template and the criteria for evaluating project proposals.

Before the seminar concluded, Dr. Sangeetha entertained questions from the participants. The BSD Senior Project Team will conduct further seminars on research writing in the following weeks.
