Engineering department conducted a Workshop for UTAS – Nizwa students on "Metal Fabrication and House Wiring" on 09th and 10th January 2022. Engineering department extends its kindness and gratitude to the Resource Persons, Hamza Mohammed Abdullah AL Kindi, Khalid Hamood Said AL- Nabhani, Munther Moosa Al Tubi, Sultan Al Kindi and Salim Al Alawi, Technician, Engineering Department.

The session started with a key note address by Dr.BenSujin, Head of Section/EE/Engineering Department with more than 50 students participated.

Students were divided into two batches, on the first day batch one attended House wiring and batch two attended metal fabrication and vice versa in the second day. The objective of this workshop was to train the students on basics of house hold wiring and trouble shooting in case if there is any problems or issues in the home. And also to know the various tools use and safety measures to be followed in case of any emergency. In the metal fabrication workshop students learned about how fabricate the sheet metal.
