The Department of Engineering is pleased to announce the commencement of the Certified Course on Electrical Installation, Wiring and Design on March 24th, 2022 (Thursday). The Certification programs are a new initiative undertaken by the Career Growth Committee of the Engineering Department under the able guidance of Dr.Bensujin, Acting Head of the Department and Head of Electrical & Electronics Section. The student registrations crossed 50 and the entries were short-listed based on their level and specialization. The course now has 26 registered participants. The duration of this course is planned for 8 weeks and the training will be for 2 hours each week.

The event started by a welcoming address by Ms. Aaisha Al-Aisaee, Lecturer, M&I section and the coordinator of Career Growth Committee. Mr.Sultan Al-Kindi, Technician, EE Section, Department of Engineering is the trainer for this course who will be training the students with hands-on sessions in Electrical wiring and design. The students will have to meet the required grades and attendance in the course to be awarded the certificate on completion.
