A state-of-the-art IT lab cyber-security lab was inaugurated in 2021 after a generous sponsorship by Daleel Petroleum. The lab comprises 31 high-specification machines that host not one but three operating systems (each). The lab sits in an isolated network, isolated from the rest of the UTAS-Nizwa infrastructure. The setup provides students with an environment for conducting potentially risky experiments.
